949 Recordings

In 2007, I started an independent label, 949 Recordings, under which I released musical work. The main output, or "flagship artist" if you want to be pretentious about it, is by the ambient industrial project Jozsua. Other releases have included a one-shot single by digital hardcore act Gnostica, as well an upcoming release from neofolk act Sign of the Locust. Below you will find a relatively complete discography.

Downloads will be available soon. Feel free to share, but at least give credit when applicable in the form of a link. All of this was done out of the love of creativity and I never harbored any delusions of making money from it. A little recognition isn't much to ask for in the era of $25 CD's.

Dark Ambient/Industrial

Formed in 2006, Jozsua started when a track produced by harsh noise project BTD didn't really turn out all that harsh or noisy. Along with realizing that the self-imposed boundaries of noise had been violated, BTD was also weary of being associated with the self-important, crypto-fascist sausagefest that is the noise scene.

Digital Hardcore/Noise
A one off digital hardcore project with tongue firmly in cheek. Partly inspired by a recent break-up and partly inspired by a desire to make something stupidly angry. Vocal performance is by my brother, Steve. The quality is sub-par with proper mixing being non-existent and the vocals performed on a ten dollar Wal-Mart USB mic. The sampled voicemail was pulled from Youtube as it resembled something my special needs ex- would say.
